Ich alter Grinch drehe dieses Jahr total am Weihnachtsrad. Seit Wochen horte ich Geschenkideen und Weihnachtslieder (bisheriger Favorit heuer: "Blue Christmas" in all seinen Interpretationen, von Johnny Cash über Bright Eyes hin zu First Aid Kit). Ich bin so rührselig dieser Tage und flenne willkürlich bei den kitschigsten Filmszenen oder auch gern mal bei Fernsehwerbung (und nicht nur wegen Mario Barth). Wohin soll das noch führen?
I'm known for my grinch attitude, but this year I am going all Christmas crazy. I've been collecting Christmas presents and Christmas songs for weeks now (this year's favorite so far: "Blue Christmas" in all its interpretations, by Johnny Cash, Bright Eyes and First Aid Kit for example). On top of it all, I'm quite sentimental and soppy, crying out loud at the kitschiest film scenes and even at stupid commercials. What's happening?
